Sirius House

Sirius at Cleethorpes Academy

Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, it is almost twice as bright as Canopus, the next brightest star. The name "Sirius" is derived from the Ancient Greek Seirios ("scorcher").

In Sirius House we work together to promote success. Together we strive to aim high pulling together as one family. Although we are not all musicians in Sirius House we understand about harmony in the sense that we all try to work together and support one-another in our wider community. We pride ourselves on our team spirit and the respect we have for each other.

2018-19 Sirius students had a successful Academic year. Success came in both Maths and Girls football gaining first place in both competitions with a further eight top two places. Sportsday was an exciting and exhilarating experience with a superb turn out from Sirius house with once again numerous Academy records broken by our incredibly talented Sirius house athletes.
