At the Academy, we believe it is very important to consider more sustainable and convenient methods to communicate and share information with our parents/carers. With this in mind, the main form of communication between home and the Academy will be the Sims Online software.
All parents/carers will receive an initial invite email on behalf of Tollbar Academy from firstname.lastname@example.org. When you receive this email, please click on the green 'Accept Invitation' button, then select how you would like to sign in for your account. You can choose to use the following in order to log in: Facebook, Twitter, Google, Microsoft, Office 365 or Apple ID. The system will verify your details and then enable you to access information about your child. When new reports regarding assessment or full subject written reports are released, we will send you an email to alert you to log in and view them.
Your child will also receive their log in details through their Academy Office 365 user account and they will be given advice in their ICT lessons regarding how to access this information.
Once you have logged in, you may wish to download the SIMS Parent app to enable even easier access to suit your needs. There is also a SIMS Student app your child may wish to use. Please see the links below:
