Young Enterprise Group Has Environmental Focus

The group is pictured on Cleethorpes Beach collecting litter.

The students of EnvironmentAClee (Cleethorpes Academy's Young Enterprise company) spent two hours cleaning Cleethorpes Beach in an effort to raise awareness for the environment whilst raising money for their Young Enterprise company.

The company has a focus on sustainable products which raise awareness for the environment whilst being socially conscious. The students asked for sponsors to support them for their beach clean and raised £25 to put towards their business and making more products. However, the group also said they would have completed the beach clean even without the money just to help the local environment.

The students worked with the local council to obtain the correct equipment and ensure that all collected items were disposed of correctly. They spent two hours cleaning the beach by the Humber Yacht Club and the dedication and enthusiasm from the group was outstanding.
