It's A Draw - Year 10 Team Joint Champions In TMAT Rounders Tournament

The standard was very high when the four TMAT Secondary Academies met on the field for a Year 9 and 10 Rounders Tournament.

Held at Somercotes Academy, the Year 10 Tournament was a draw between Cleethorpes and Somercotes Academies. The Year 9 Tournament was won by Louth Academy.

Somercotes Academy Curriculum Leader for P.E., Chris Prendergast, who organised the tournament, said: "The standard of rounders tonight was very high and it was a pleasure to organise such a positive event for Tollbar MAT."

Simon Blewitt, Curriculum Leader for P.E. at Cleethorpes Academy, said: "This was a really competitive tournament on a warm day and the students responded extremely well to the challenge."
