Year 10 student Holly Larsen won the Singer Of The Year competition organised by the Music and Performing Arts Service in Grimsby.

Two students were selected from schools in the region to take part in the contest. Holly was joined by Charlotte Broddle (Year 7). The students were not only competing against other schools, but also spent a lot of the day working as part of a team in workshops led by two of the prestigious Garsington Workshops leaders.

Holly won the event by singing 'Over the Rainbow' by Eva Cassidy. Charlotte Broddle sang 'Never Enough' from the Greatest Showman. Holly was then invited to sing her song at the Hub Celebration Event at Grimsby Auditorium.
